Enhanced battery monitoring and alerts

We are pleased to introduce a major upgrade to Mercato’s small-format screens' battery manager. Screens now report several critical battery metrics to the dashboard, including battery current and average current (amps), temperature, and voltage.

This allows for better management of the screen’s remotely monitored power status. The update checks if the screen is receiving enough power (amperage). It also helps detect if the screen is using an unauthorised power adapter or is plugged into a wall USB port.

Weight support Tile.jpg

Weight support for creative assets

Control how often each asset is displayed based on its assigned weight.

For example, you can set one asset to appear 80% of the time and another 20%, providing greater flexibility and control over content distribution.

Maximise ad loop utilisation

Users can now define campaigns to fill any unused ad spots according to their loop policy.

Fill to Loop Length: Automatically filling the remaining loop duration with filler content.

Play When Idle: Only displays filler content when no other campaigns are booked.

One Per Cycle: Plays one filler ad per cycle if the ad cycle isn’t fully booked.

InApp comments tile.jpg

In-app notifications (dashboard)

Users can mention others directly in comments across advertisers / agencies, venues, campaigns, and signs.

By typing "@" followed by a user’s name, you can now easily bring their attention to specific discussions. Once mentioned, the user will receive an in-app notification inside the dashboard, ensuring they are alerted and can engage with the relevant comment. This enables collaboration and keeps all users in the loop.
